12月23日晚，沈阳市卫生健康委在沈阳市新型冠状病毒肺炎疫情防控工作第七场新闻发布会上透露，沈阳市发现1例韩国返沈人员解除隔离后新冠病毒核酸检测阳性患者。12月24日，沈阳市政府新闻办召开新冠肺炎疫情防控工作发布会通报说，患者曾到过秀水诊所、沈阳谱康医院、沈医二院北院区、市四院、医大一院等5家医疗机构就诊，目前，沈医二院北院区和市四院急诊及秀水诊所、沈阳谱康医院已封停，上述5家医疗机构已全部进行终末消毒。患者家属就读的沈阳市朝鲜族一中、于洪区职业教育中心已停课，教职员工及学生已按照属地要求进行转运和集中隔离，已排查风险人群8571人，相关检测结果均为阴性。此外，已开展了校园环境消毒消杀。
