印度情侣遭家人反对 女方父兄动用私刑处死

印度一些村落因“荣誉处决”而相当闻名。近日，一对年轻情侣的尸体被发现挂在树上，被民众发现后误为双双殉情自杀，但警方调查后发现他们是被勒毙身亡，而凶手竟然是女方的父亲和哥哥，以“荣誉处决”为由杀死他们。

据印度媒体报道，当地警方28日接到报警后到达现场，法医在现场搜集不少有用证据，据初步证据判断为一宗谋杀案，并已拘捕5名疑犯。

报道称，被杀情侣原本计划结婚，全村亦知悉他们的恋情，惟遭女方家人强烈反对。19岁男死者迪万南达在父亲去世后接手负责家中的农业，事发当日正灌溉麦田等候女友来访，而女死者的父亲刚好路过目睹他们在田里聊天，于是在愤怒下叫来儿子及侄子们，共5人一起鞭打及勒毙受害者，最后将他们的尸体挂上树伪装自杀案。

所谓的“荣誉处决”在落后，思想较为保守的地方，针对不听从父母婚姻安排的男女，为维护家族名誉而谋杀成员的习俗。通常是女方的父亲及兄弟去杀害男方，然后再处死自己女儿。
