三星全球唯一笔记本电脑生产基地将停止生产

近日,苏州三星电子电脑有限公司《致员工的相关说明》,将关闭生产线,只保留研发部门员工。这一决定将1,700名合同工中，大约一半人受到影响，但不包括从事研发的人员。

据该份说明,近年来，由于市场竞争激烈，公司产品市场份额不断萎缩，三星总部调整发展战略，公司将专注研发工作，做大做强PC研发，使三星电脑产业获得新的竞争优势。基于前述客观情况发生重大变化，除研发部门员工外，其余人员的劳动合同履行均受到影响。公司拟与受影响员工协商解除劳动合同。

公开资料显示,苏州三星电子电脑有限公司(Samsung Electronics Suzhou Computer)简称SESC，位于江苏省苏州市。SESC于2002年9月在苏州工业园注册成立,初期投资总额3358万美元，注册资本1343万美元，2003年4月正式投产，占地面积26000平方米,并在2003年11月通过相关认证，2005年5月,SESC将韩国笔记本电脑生产线迁至苏州。集研发，设计，制造于一身,有员工约2000人,拥有研发和测试，表面贴装技术(SMT)和装配生产线,向欧洲，美国等出口产品。

据介绍，随着工厂的关闭,三星笔记本电脑的生产或将转移到代工厂。三星集团近些年已将密集性生产链转向印度和越南。

也有分析认为,三星正在扩建越南生产线,苏州笔记本电脑研发未来也存在转至越南的可能。 值得关注的是,在市场竞争、降低成本、国际贸易等多重因素影响下,三星近年间关闭了多个制造工厂,甚至被称为大撤退。2018年,关闭天津手机制造工厂(天津三星通信)。2019年,关闭中国最后一家手机工厂(惠州三星电子)。2019年,关闭江苏昆山工厂(昆山三星电机)。

该公司在一份声明中说：“对于三星来说，中国仍然是重要市场，我们将继续为中国消费者提供优质的产品和服务。”
