德国制药、化学巨头拜耳公司围绕该公司旗下孟山都公司生产的含有草甘膦的除草剂可能致癌民事诉讼，与美国原告方达成庭外和解，拜耳将为和解赔付逾百亿美元。
拜耳表示，将支付总计101亿至109亿美元，其中88亿至96亿美元用以解决当前的诉讼，另有12.5亿美元准备金用来支付潜在的诉讼法律费用。
由孟山都生产的草甘膦除草剂被指有致癌风险，草甘膦是一种广效型的有机磷除草剂，用来杀死杂草。2007年草甘膦是美国的农业领域最常用的除草剂，也是大多数家园、花园和商业使用。拜耳2018年6月宣布完成对美国生物技术公司孟山都的收购，收购交易金额约630亿美元。2019年，拜耳在美国有关草甘膦除草剂致癌的民事诉讼中接连败诉。通过此次和解，其中75%的索赔诉讼将结案，其余诉讼程序也将在未来几个月完成。
