美国参议院司法委员会预计将于下周二对推特和脸书首席执行官正式发出传票

据法广网援引美国之音今天17日报道称，美社媒屏蔽拜登争议报道，国会共和党议员震怒谴责。星期三（10月14日），默多克旗下平面媒体《纽约邮报》刊发一篇报道，暗示拜登父子与乌克兰能源公司有不正当关系。该报道将相关电邮记录公开在文章中，不过，脸书和推特不约而同的将相关新闻链接封锁。当天，多位共和党议员透过推特发文和发表正式声明的方式谴责脸书和推特的决定。来自密苏里州共和党联邦参议员霍利星期三连发三条新闻稿和至少二十条推文谴责推特和脸书，并指责他们是“美国史上最强大有力的垄断”。霍利还致函联邦选举委员会，要求调查脸书和推特为拜登竞选而协调出的干预行为是否违反了竞选资金或其它选举法。
