9月16日外交部发言人汪文斌主持例行记者会上，澎湃新闻记者问，据报道，美国务卿蓬佩奥在美智库大西洋理事会线上论坛称，越来越多的国家支持美方的世界观，世界对中国共产党威胁的看法发生了有力转变。中方对此有何回应？
外交部发言人汪文斌，蓬佩奥一贯罔顾事实，满口谎言，利用一切场合肆意污蔑抹黑中国，国际社会对此看得十分清楚。
与蓬佩奥宣称的越来越多国家支持美方的世界观相反，多份调查报告显示，在蓬佩奥之流主导的错误外交政策影响下，美国的国家形象越来越不受欢迎。欧洲对外关系委员会近期一份调查报告显示，欧洲多国民众对美国的信任正在消失，美国在他们心目中的形象因疫情危机“严重恶化”。2020年“最佳国家”报告显示，世界对美国的信任度近两年来下降了50%，降幅居世界首位。美国盖洛普公司网站年度调查报告显示“美国的领导力在世界继续不受欢迎”，特别是美国的欧洲传统盟友对其“领导地位”的支持率最低。皮尤研究中心在37个国家调查发现，认同美国正确处理国际事务的比例仅为20%。皮尤研究中心昨天发布的另一项民调显示，由于新冠肺炎疫情应对不力等因素，英国、法国、德国、日本、韩国等国对美国的好感度均降至历史的最低点。
我们再次敦促蓬佩奥之流尊重事实，停止喋喋不休的反华言论，否则只会招致中国人民和国际社会正义人士的更大反感。
