印度媒体报道，20日深夜，印度特伦甘纳邦与安得拉邦交界处斯里赛勒姆水库的一座水电站发生火灾，事故导致9人死亡。事故发生时，水电站内共有30名员工，其中15人通过紧急出口逃生，6人被消防员救出，9人被浓烟所困无法脱身，救援人员已在现场找到这9人的遗体。赶到现场的特伦甘纳邦电力部长雷迪21日说，大火可能由电线短路引起。事故原因已展开调查。
