据外媒报道：31岁的英国碧翠丝公主（Princess Beatrice），于周五17日上午11点在温莎堡诸圣皇家礼拜堂与37岁意大利地产大亨爱德华多·马佩利·莫奇（Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi）完婚。由于新冠病毒疫情影响，婚礼中除了英国女王伊利莎白二世、菲利普亲王及安德鲁王子外，大约20名贵宾出席，相当低调。为了此次婚礼，女王将一条复古长裙和她在1947年自己婚礼上佩戴的一顶穗状钻石王冠借给了碧翠丝公主。
碧翠丝公主与爱德华多·马佩利·莫奇原计划于今年5月29日在伦敦的圣詹姆斯宫（St James Palace）皇家礼拜堂（Chapel Royal）举行婚礼。最终仪式场所所在的温莎大公园（Windsor Great Park）皇家小屋（Royal Lodge）是碧翠丝童年时代的家，她的父母如今仍然居住在那里。但因新冠病毒，二人决定将仪式延后，并改为举行由双方父母及兄弟姐妹参加的私人典礼。
英国自3月23日起实行全国范围的封锁，英格兰境内几乎所有婚礼均被禁止举行。而自7月4日起，英格兰开始允许举行婚礼，但人数上限为30人。白金汉宫在一则声明中表示，碧翠丝的婚礼符合政府政策规定。这应该是94岁的女王与99岁的菲利普亲王在英国封锁令后首次参加家庭聚会。
37岁的爱德华多·马佩利·莫奇是意大利贵族出身，他与前未婚妻台裔美籍的黄达拉（Dara Huang），黄达拉是美国建筑师和设计师，父亲为台湾移居美国的NASA科学家。两人育有一名在2016年出生的儿子，但在2018年解除婚约和分手。和莫齐结婚后，碧翠丝公主将成为孩子的继母。
