法国驻华大使馆16日发布公告，法航—荷航集团获准自下周起每周增加运营第二班巴黎至上海的航班，以及第一班阿姆斯特丹至上海的航班 ，法国驻华大使馆对此表示欢迎。法中两国正在根据双边航空运输协定继续展开积极洽谈，以增加两国间的航班频次。
此前，7月13日，法国宣布出于对等原则，决定将中国航空公司赴法航班数量由现在的每周三班(国航，东航，南航)缩减为每周一班。中国原计划于当地时间7月15日由巴黎飞往北京的国航CA934航班，因未获法国民航局批准，也已取消。7月14日，中国驻法使馆发言人表示：法方单方面削减相关航班，对中国航空公司和两国民众造成损害。我们对法方这一决定深表遗憾。
