特朗普又表示，为了重新建设美国军队，他领导的政府已经投入超过两万亿美元，购置新型舰艇、轰炸机、数百架直升机、战斗机、新式坦克和导弹等，并研制超高音速的导弹，还成立了太空军队，目的就是确保美国军队拥有世界上最好的装备与科技，继续是世界上最強大的军队。
