据Flightradar24消息，该飞机为空客A230，15年机龄。
巴基斯坦国家航空公司首席执行官阿沙德·马利克告诉吉奥新闻，飞行员在遗言中表示，飞机存在技术故障。
“飞行员被告知两条跑道已经准备好让他降落。然而飞行员决定做一次复飞。他为什么这样做，出于什么技术原因，我们将会找到答案。”他说道。
吉奥新闻援引救援消息人士的话说，目前已有15至20人从坠机地点的废墟下被救出。8人受伤，被送往医院接受治疗。一名5岁儿童和另一人的尸体在现场被发现。
