1月21日下午，蒙古国国家大呼拉尔举行全体会议，讨论国家大呼拉尔政权建设委员会会议提交的决议草案，并进行投票表决。在参与投票的63位委员中，60票赞成，3票反对，最终以95.2%的支持率通过了关于接受政府总理乌·呼日勒苏赫政府集体辞职的一项决议。 蒙古国国家大呼拉尔21日通过关于接受政府集体辞职的一项决议。
此前，当日下午蒙古国政府总理乌·呼日勒苏赫举行新闻发布会，宣布自己将辞去总理职务。他表示，作为政府首脑，他对19日在首都地区一名产妇曾遇到非人道待遇一事深表遗憾，并就个别公务员失职行为向全国人民表示歉意。他说，在目前国内政治形势下，他将无法继续正常履行总理职务，因此，决定辞去总理职务。
乌·呼日勒苏赫是蒙古国政府第31任总理，他也是在蒙古国政府历史上自愿提出辞职申请的首位总理。蒙古国本届政府2020年7月8日宣布成立，截至目前仅运行半年多的时间。
